The Kelowna Curling Club makes the transition from curling to pickleball:
This coach partnership would be from April 15, 2021 – March 31, 2022 with the option of extending the contract if both sides are in agreement. The most recent Provincial Health Orders, on February 5th 2021, extended the same orders and restrictions that we have been playing under since late last year. There is no expiry date to the current orders. Pickleball is still limited to singles play indoors as well as outdoors. However, you can play doubles outdoors if your playing partner is from the same household. To view the orders, click here.
The District of Squamish has included $50,000 in their 2021 draft budget to fund the construction of permanent courts. Read the full article from reporter Dan Falloon of The Squamish Chief here.
